There's so many things about long hair that I will never like.
First it's how troublesome to style and keep tidy. There's no such thing as a out of bed look for long tresses. Just plain messy. Not to mention the split ends and endless hours to wash, condition and blow dry (if you don't wish to wait for another set of endless hours for it to dry naturally).
Second it's the cost to maintain it. Double the shampoo, double the conditioner, double the hair dye, you get the point.
Third. I'm someone that is easily irritable when I'm hot, sweaty and sticky. And in this situation THE hair does not know how to avoid irritating the head it's on. It tickles the neck, sticks to the forehead, pokes the eye and is just pure irritating. Tying it up just focuses the irritant to a big brush that clumps up in the most unsightly manner.
Most importantly it's the hair loss amount. You may argue that if I had maintain my hair well this should not be an issue. But no. You can avoid the natural process of a certain degree of hair loss. And at longer lengths the amount increases proportionately. Hair on my bed, floor, clothes, cleavage and the most irritating of all, butt crack. This is also the reason this post was written. There is a freaking hair stuck in my butt crack and I can't take it out because it would be totally obscene!!!
So that concludes my piece on why long hair does not make me any more feminine. Because an irritable me is an just as it is. Irritating.
